Sell Your Queen Anne Autograph
Anne (6 February 1665 – 1 August 1714) was Queen of England, Scotland and Ireland between 8 March 1702 and 1 May 1707. On 1 May 1707, under the Acts of Union, the kingdoms of England and Scotland united as a single sovereign state known as Great Britain. She continued to reign as Queen of Great Britain and Ireland until her death in 1714.

Gorgeous & Rare 1705 Political Appointment Signed by Queen Anne
Attractive political appointment signed by Queen Anne whose short, five year reign produced a limited number of signed documents that have survived into the 21st century. This document, bright and well-preserved, appoints Thomas Stanwise to Lieutenent Governor of Carlisle. Datelined Court of St. James, 5 April 1705, vellum manuscript document is signed in the upper margin ”Anne R.” and coutersigned by C. Hedges and two others. Stamps and seals intact. 15.5” x 11”. Near fine considering age, with usual folds and some light soiling. Sold for $1,109.

Queen Victoria Signs a Royal Summons to Her Coronation — ”…you are not to fail…”
England’s monarch inscribes the uppermost portion of a royal summons: ”Victoria R” as Queen. The document commands the presence of Lord Bishop James Henry to the Royal Coronation on 28 June 1838. Summons dated 9 May 1838 reads in part: ”…These are to Will and Command you (all excuses set apart) to make your personal attendance…you are not to fail…” Measures 8” x 12”. One closed tear runs from the bottom edge to the middle of the document. Some discoloration and a smudge to the signature. Overall very good condition. Sold for $3,120.
King George VI and Elizabeth Signed 1939 Holiday Card — Just Months After England Declares War on Nazi Germany
1939 Christmas card signed by King George VI and his wife Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Official card is signed “Bertie / 1939” and “Elizabeth” below a photograph of the young Royals with their two daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret. The card reads, “With Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year” and, upon the front is a gilt crown, monogrammed “GRE”. Opened, card measures 11.5″ x 8.25″ with a blue ribbon down the middle. In very good condition with some toning. Signatures remain very bold. Sold for $1,109.
