Baseball signed by the 1954 World Series champion New York Giants team. 29 signatures include: “W Mays”, “Foster Castleman”, “Hank Thompson”, “Ray Katt”, “John McCall”, “Bill Taylor”, “Al Dark”, “B Hofman”, “Sal Maglie”, “Al Corwin”, “Whitey Lockman”, “Jim Rhodes”, “Hoyt Wilhelm”, “Don Mueller”, “Bill Gardner”, “Marv Grissom”, “Jim Hearn”, “Larry Jansen”, “Monte Irvin” and “Don Liddle”. A notation by an unknown hand labels the ball “1954 World Champions / N.Y. Giants”. Warren Giles National League ball by Spalding shows faint smudging to some signatures and light soiling to seams, else near fine. From the personal estate of Larry Jansen. With PSA/DNA COA for all signatures, except Leo Durocher’s signature which is stamped. Sold for $1,477.

Rare 1925 Baseball Signed by American League Champion Washington Senators — Including Legendary Pitcher Walter Johnson on the Sweet Spot
Scarce 1925 team signed baseball, autographed by 25 members of the American League champion Washington Senators. Signatures includes five Hall of Famers: the legendary Walter Johnson, Sam Rice, Bucky Harris, Goose Goslin and Stan Coveleski. Other signatures include: Roger Peckinpaugh, Joe Judge, Dutch Ruether, Bobby Veach, Alex Ferguson, Hank Severied, Nemo Leibold, Nick Altrock, Joe Harris, Bennie Tate, Tom Zachary, Earl McNeely, Ossie Bluege, Buddy Myer, Spencer Adams, Everett Scott, Win Ballou, Muddy Ruel, Alan Russell and Tex Jeane. Some signatures are faded but Hall of Famers are all clear. The Senators were the AL Champions in 1925 only to lose their crown to the Pirates in the World Series. Reach brand baseball is an official American League Ball. Surface toning due to shellacking but overall in very good condition. Sold for $2,043.
Baseball signed by 24 of the famous 1950 National League All-Stars. This was the first all-star game to thrill the crowd by going into extra innings. Signatures are from “Stan Musial”, “Jackie Robinson”, “Gil Hodges”, “Enos Slaughter”, “Andy Pafko”, “Preacher Roe”, “Duke Snider”, “Dick Sisler”, “Bob Rush”, “Larry Jansen”, “Ewell Blackwell”, “John Wyrostek”, “Eddie Stanky”, “Pee Wee Reese”, “Walker Cooper”, “Rob Roberts”, “Al Schoendienst”, “Hank Sauer”, “Ralph Kiner”, “Roy Campanella”, “Willie Jones”, “Marty Marion”, “Don Newcombe” and “Jim Konstanty”.
