Denton True “Cy” Young was an American Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher. Young entered the major leagues in 1890 with the National League’s Cleveland Spiders and pitched for them until 1898. He was then transferred to the St. Louis Cardinals franchise. In 1901, Young jumped to the American League and played for the Boston Red Sox franchise until 1908, helping them win the 1903 World Series. He finished his career with the Cleveland Naps and Boston Rustlers, retiring in 1911.

Cy Young Single-Signed Baseball
Incredibly scarce Cy Young single-signed baseball, where Young signs his name and also “814 – 511” designating the number of games he had started (814) and the number won (511). The date of 2 May 1950 also appears on the ball, in much lighter ink, which may have been the day that Young signed the ball; the name Cy Young is also written on the ball in another hand. Ball is encapsulated in a sealed PSA/DNA ball holder with grade. The signature has been graded a 6 out of 10 and the overall ball and autograph together; a 4. One of the scarcest and desirable Cy Young signed baseballs ever to appear on the market. Sold for $15,732.

Mickey Mantle signed 1959 Major League baseball contract. Contract states an agreement between the New York Yankees, known as the “American League Baseball Club of New York, Inc.” and “Mickey C. Mantle” for the amount of “$70,000 per season.” Mantle’s signature and address appear in dark ink on page three. Contract is dated 26 February 1959. 4pp. Mickey Mantle signed document measures 8.5″ x 11″. Contract shows slight toning, otherwise excellent condition. A rare treasure from the beginning of Mantle’s Major League career. A great sports autographed item of sports memorabilia. Great Mickey Mantle signed player’s contract.
