Sell Your Edd Roush Game Used Bat
Edd J. Roush was an American professional baseball center fielder. He played in Major League Baseball for the Cincinnati Reds, New York Giants, Chicago White Sox, Newark Peppers and Indianapolis Hoosiers from 1913 to 1931. Roush won the National League (NL) batting title two times and had a career batting average of .323 He was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962.

Edd J. Rousch game used bat, circa 1929. Louisville Slugger Hillerich & Bradsby Co. bat measures 33″ in length. Sidewritten: Purcell, 39oz. Spinney, J.A. 4-4-29. Some cracking and splitting, else good condition. Sold for $772.

Napoleon “Nap” Lajoie Game-Used Bat
Authentic Napoleon “Nap” Lajoie Bat; a Louisville Slugger professional game-used bat. Accompanied by Mears LOA, which dates the bat to 1916-1921, and states: “This is the only known professional model signature bat from the end of Lajoie’s playing days in the Major Leagues (1916) or the beginning of his playing days in the Minor Leagues (post-1916).” Bat measures 34.75″ and weighs 35.6 ounces. LOA gives final grade of A5.5. Knob of bat has what looks like a large “D” carved into the end. In the early twentieth century, Lajoie was second only to Ty Cobb as the top player in the American League. Sold for $8,500.
Roberto Clemente Game Used Bat
Rare Roberto Clemente Pittsburgh Pirates 1961-63 game-used bat. Bat shows Forbes Field green bat rack marks and #21 on the knob. Excellent condition with PSA authentication. An excellent Roberto Clemente example of sports memorabilia. Sold for $5,400.
Duke Snider Game-Used Bat
Duke Snider bat, game-used, circa 1950-1951. Hillerich & Bradsby professional model C117L bat measures 35″ in length and weighs 33.9 ounces. Ball marks and deep ball stitch impressions visible to right and left barrel. Grain separation from repeated ball contact to front barrel; a six inch piece is missing from the back barrel. The small and rare “Ed Duke Snider” is stamped to the front barrel. Handle reveals that Snider’s signature crisscross tape was removed, bat also appears to have been oiled. Lot accompanied by Letter of Authenticity by PSA/DNA confirming that the model number, length and weight specifications were confirmed by the manufacturer’s ordering records as being ordered by Snider during this time period. An excellent and hard to find bat from the 1950’s era. Sold for $5,012.
1951 New York Giants team-signed bat issued to Larry Jansen. Signed by 27 members of the National League championship-winning team sign the barrel of the Louisville Slugger, which has “World Series 1951 / Jansen / New York Giants” branded into the bat. Signatures in pencil include: “Willie Mays”, “George Spencer”, “Al Corwin”, “Jim Hearn”, “Sal Yvars”, “Eddie Stanky”, “Wes Westrum”, “Sal Maglie”, “Bobby Thomson”, “Jack Lohrke”, “Whitey Lockman”, “Monte Irvin”, “Dave Koslo”, “Don Mueller”, “Dave Williams”, “Henry Thompson”, “Bill Rigney”, “Herman Franks”, “Sheldon Jones”, “Hank Schenz”, “Monte Kennedy”, “Frank Shellenback”, “Clint Hartung”, “Rafael Noble”, “Larry Jansen” and 2 others. Measures 34.75″ in length. Some smudging to signatures, else near fine. From the personal estate of Larry Jansen and with PSA/DNA COA for all signatures. Sold for $2,886.
