JFK Dallas Lunch Invite 1963
22 November 1963 invitation for a luncheon with John F. Kennedy. Invitation reads in full: “The Dallas Citizens Council / The Dallas Assembly / The Science Research Center / request the pleasure of the company of [blank] at a luncheon in honor of The President and Mrs. Kennedy / The Vice-President and Mrs. Johnson / The Governor and Mrs. Connally Friday, the twenty-second of November at tewlve noon / The Trade Mart.” Postmarked stamps with JFK images intact. Measures 7″ x 10″. Fine condition. Sold for $808.

Scarce JFK Assassination Relic
Exceedingly rare President John F. Kennedy collectible. Original switchboard card from the Commodore Perry Hotel, where Kennedy was supposed to stay on the night of his 22 November 1963 assassination. Though Kennedy was assassinated hours before he would have checked into the hotel, the Secret Service had already set up the White House switchboard at the Commodore Perry. An extremely small number of access cards were given to the Secret Service and top Kennedy staffers; according to several top Kennedy experts, only two of these such cards are known to exist and even Kennedy’s personal secretary Evelyn Lincoln never had one. Switchboard card reads, “There will be a White House Switchboard located at Room 419, Commodore Perry Hotel. To reach the White House Switchboard use the phones with the White House disk as shown on this card. These phones are located along the President’s route of travel. To reach the White House board from an outside phone, dial GR 7-6317. There will be a comcenter for classified traffic available in Room 420, Commodore Perry Hotel.” A true rarity and must-have for any JKF collector. This John Kennedy Commodore Perry hotel switchboard card is in Fine condition. Sold for $1,597.
Invitation to the Dinner Welcoming President Kennedy to Texas the Night of His Assassination
Original invitation to the dinner welcoming John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson to Texas the fateful night of 22 November 1963. The formal print reads in full: ”In honor of President John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson The State Democratic Executive Committee requests the pleasure of your company at the Texas Welcome Dinner on Friday evening the twenty-second of November One thousand nine hundred and sixty-three at half after seven o’clock at the Municipal Auditorium in the City of Austin”. Signed in print by the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and Secretary. Fine print to the lower left reads: ”Contribution card enclosed / Optional dress”. Single-fold stationery measures 7” x 9.75”. In near fine condition. Sold for $1,000.
