Walter Charles “Wally” Post (1929-1982) was a Major League Baseball right fielder who was loved by Cincinnati baseball fans of the 1950s and respected by peers and fans alike as a powerful slugger. Born in Ohio, Post began his career playing for the Cincinnati Redlegs (1940, 1951-1957), with his most productive season coming in 1955 when he realized career highs in batting average (.309), home runs (40), and RBI (109). He remained in baseball for the next several years, playing for the Philadelphia Phillies (1958-1960), Cincinnati Reds (1960-1963), Minnesota Twins (1963), and Cleveland Indians (1964). During his 15-year career, Post appeared in 1,204 games and batted .266 with 210 homers and 699 RBI.

Topps 1960 Carl Yastrzemski PSA 8

1960 Carl Yastrzemski, Second Baseman, Boston Red Sox Rookie Topps Card. Number 148. Yastrzemski enjoyed a 23-year career with the Red Sox. Primarily a left fielder, he played some first base and served as a designated hitter. PSA 8 condition. Sold for $1,497.
