Rick MacLeish’s Clarence Campbell trophy from the Philadelphia Flyers’ thrilling 1975-76 season. Trophy consists of a silver-plated cup mounted to a hexagonal wooden base. One side of the double-handled cup is engraved, in full, ”Philadelphia Flyers / 1975-76 / Rick MacLeish”. Opposite is engraved, ”Clarence S. Campbell / Bowl / 1968”. Silver-plated trophy features a gold patina. Measures 11” in height. Light scratching and rubbing to handles, else near fine. With a COA from Rick MacLeish. Sold for $3,000.
NHL Campbell Bowl Trophy Cup From the 1987-88 Championship — Won by the Edmonton Oilers During Their ”Dynasty Years”
Rare Clarence S. Campbell Bowl award, won by the Edmonton Oilers during their 1987-88 season. The Campbell Bowl trophy is awarded to the NHL’s top team in the Western Conference, before the Stanley Cup championship. Trophy was presented to Edmonton Oilers physical therapist Juergen Merz, whose name is engraved upon the trophy along with that of his team ”Edmonton Oilers”, who won the Stanley Cup that year in a sweep against the Boston Bruins. Trophy is a metal double-handled lidded cup mounted to a hexagonal wooden base, engraved ”CLARENCE S. CAMPBELL BOWL / 1968” and ”Juergen Merz / Edmonton Oilers / 1987-88”. Measures 8.5” in height and 4.75” across the bottom of the base. Affixed to felt backing is the sticker of manufacturer ”Boffey of Montreal”. Some tarnishing, else near fine. Sold for $2,772.
Rare Clarence Campbell Bowl Trophy Issued to Andre Dupont of The Philadelphia Flyers in 1974-75
Miniature Clarence Campbell Bowl trophy awarded to Andre Dupont of the Philadelphia Flyers during their 1974-75 championship season. Member of the Flyers’ ”Broad Street Bullies”, Dupont was a defenceman and integral part of Philadelphia’s back-to-back Stanley Cups. The Clarence Campbell trophy is awarded each year to the Western Conference Champions and consists of a silver-plated cup mounted to a hexagonal wooden base. The front side of the double-handled cup is engraved with the words, ”PHILADELPHIA FLYERS / 1974-75 / ANDRE DUPONT”. Verso is engraved, ”CLARENCE S. CAMPBELL BOWL / 1968”. Silver-plated trophy has a gold patina. Measures 11” in total height. Light rubbing and scratching to handles and top edge, some discoloration on ”Campbell” engraving, minor nicks to wooden base, in overall very good condition. Sold for $1,000.
