1955 signed document by baseball legend Hank Aaron. Contract states an agreement between the Milwaukee Braves, known as the “National League Baseball Club of Milwaukee, Inc.” and “Henry L. Aaron” for the amount of “$10,000 per season.” Aaron’s signature and address appear in dark ink on page three as, “Henry L. Aaron / 2420 Bunch Road / Mobile, Alabama.” Contract is also signed by Braves General Manager John Quinn and National League President Warren Giles. Contract is dated 13 January 1955 and stamped as approved on 17 January 1955. Stipulations of the contract include specifications on public appearances, rights of the player to the agreed salary and adherence to regulations of the game. 4pp. document measures 8.5″ x 11″. Contract shows slight toning, otherwise excellent condition. A rare treasure from the beginning of Aaron’s Major League career. Sold by us. Currently worth $20,000.

Official National League Baseball signed by 8 Hall of Famers: “Babe Ruth”, “Ty Cobb”, “Honus Wagner”, “Tris Speaker.”, “Jimmie Foxx”, “Connie Mack”, “Walter Johnson” and “Eddie Collins”. All eight signatures including the Babe Ruth autograph are clearly legible and PSA/DNA authenticated. Also includes an LOA from the Baseball Hall of Fame regarding a possible donation of the ball in the 1980’s. A stunning signed ball in very good condition. Sold for $20,400.

Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autograph photograph. 5″ x 7″ black and white image depicts the two Yankee greats standing side by side on the baseball field wearing their pinstripe pants. Inscribed by Ruth in brown ink at the upper left, “For Walter from, ‘Babe’ Ruth” beside which Gehrig signs in black ink, “& Lou Gehrig”. Small .25″ tear (with no emulsion loss) at top, not affecting either signature, else fine. A difficult to acquire pairing of legendary signatures on a single photograph. A Babe Ruth signature with the quotation marks around “Babe” typifies his pre-1928 autograph and will sell at a higher value as well. Sold for $19,036.

Jackie Robinson Single Signed Baseball with PSA/DNA, VG+, 3.5
Official National League baseball boldly signed “Jackie Robinson” in ink to side panel. A signed foul ball hit at Crosley Field late in Robinson’s major league career. Authenticated by PSA/DNA. Baseball and signature in very good condition. Sold for $4,037.
Hank Aaron Game Used Bat
Hank Aaron game-used bat. A genuine Louisville Slugger stamped with Aaron’s signature used by the “Hammer” himself . Bat measures 34″ in length and weighs 32.2 ounces. Hillerich & Bradsby model R43 Hank Aaron professional bat is uncracked and shows evidence of moderate use. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the back left barrel. The R43 model was frequently ordered by the Milwaukee Braves for team use during Minor League and Spring Training. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA confirms team ordering records of this bat model. Knob contains the model number “R43” stamped into surface and Aaron’s number “44” written in black marker. Lower end of bat colored slightly darker than upper half, the result of the removal of grip tape. Overall, excellent condition. Sold for $2,126.
1953 Topps Baseball Complete Set
1953 Topps Complete Set. Each card protected by a Card Saver 1 Sleeve. One of the most sought after sets issued by Topps loaded with valuable cards such as: Mickey Mantle, #82; Willie Mays, #244; Satchel Paige, Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Yogi Berra, Jim Gilliam, Johnny Podres, Eddie Mathews, Milt Boiling and others. The 1953 Topps final card is #280; however, card numbers 253, 261, 267, 268, 271 and 275 were never issued. Each bears a recognizable artistic depiction of the featured player, a single bottom corner caption area (red for American League and black for National League) relating the player’s name and position, plus his team logo. These cards were pulled because the original players featured signed exclusive contracts with Bowman. Many cards contain slight creasing, though overall cards in very good condition. An outstanding addition to any collection. Sold for $1,900.
