Cy Young Single-Signed Baseball
Incredibly scarce Cy Young single-signed baseball, where Young signs his name and also “814 – 511” designating the number of games he had started (814) and the number won (511). The date of 2 May 1950 also appears on the ball, in much lighter ink, which may have been the day that Young signed the ball; the name Cy Young is also written on the ball in another hand. Ball is encapsulated in a sealed PSA/DNA ball holder with grade. The signature has been graded a 6 out of 10 and the overall ball and autograph together; a 4. One of the scarcest and desirable Cy Young signed baseballs ever to appear on the market. Sold for $15,732.
