Rookie Stars Topps Card #177 featuring N.Y. Mets pitchers Nolan Ryan and Jerry Koosman. Koosman enjoyed a spectacular rookie season, winning 19 games, but an undervalued Ryan languished on the team and was eventually traded for infielder Jim Fregosi in 1971. Post-Mets, Ryan became one of the best pitchers in history propelling him into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999. And excellent Ryan collectible in PSA 8 condition.

Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autograph photograph. 5″ x 7″ black and white image depicts the two Yankee greats standing side by side on the baseball field wearing their pinstripe pants. Inscribed by Ruth in brown ink at the upper left, “For Walter from, ‘Babe’ Ruth” beside which Gehrig signs in black ink, “& Lou Gehrig”. Small .25″ tear (with no emulsion loss) at top, not affecting either signature, else fine. A difficult to acquire pairing of legendary signatures on a single photograph. A Babe Ruth signature with the quotation marks around “Babe” typifies his pre-1928 autograph and will sell at a higher value as well. Sold for $19,036.

Additionally signed by fellow “Murderers Row” member, Lou Gehrig on adjacent panel in black ink. Ruth autograph rates PSA 6-7; Gerhrig signature rates PSA 8. Accompanied by PSA/DNA letter of authenticity certifying that the Babe Ruth autograph and the Lou Gehrig autographs are authentic. An exceptional Babe Ruth signed baseball etc. and a must-have for Yankees collectors. Sold for $18,500.
Nolan Ryan Texas Rangers Uniform Worn During His Final Season — With Miedema
Nolan Ryan Texas Rangers #34 Goodman-brand home uniform. The Goodman white jersey with blue and red lettering is size 46 and has a “2/18 1993” tag stitched onto the front bottom, as Ryan ordered 18 home and 18 road sets of uniforms to be donated to charity in his final season. The left sleeve also features a “1972-1993 Arlington Stadium” commemorative patch. The white pants are size 34 and also have a commemorative tag reading “Ryan 34-25 ’93 Set 2”. Both the jersey and pants have dirt stains from game use. Sold for $2,730.
