1939 Washington Nationals Team photograph. Black & white image of the team in Griffith Stadium, Washington, D.C. Signed in blue ink by 30 players including: Nick Altrock, Pete Appleton, Jimmy Bloodworth, George Case, Ken Chase, Jimmie DeShong, Jake Early, Bobby Estalella, Rick Ferrell, Charlie Gelbert, Tony Giuliani, Joe Haynes, Bucky Jacobs, Harry Kelley, Joe Krakauskas, Dutch Leonard, Buddy Lewis, Buddy Myer, Clyde Milan, Rene Monteagudo, Ramon Ortiz, Cecil Travis, Jimmy Wasdell, Johnny Welaj, Sammy West, Taffy Wright; and featuring future Hall of Famer Bucky Harris. Measures 9.5″ x 13.75″. Diagonal crease at lower right corner, else fine condition. Sold for $966.

Signed 10″ x 8″ photo depicting the 1937 World Champion New York Yankees and bearing 30 signatures, accounting for every uniformed subject pictured. The signatures are rendered in the same consistent black fountain pen and include Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Red Ruffing, Selkirk, Crosetti, Jorgens, Hoag, Scheiber, Henrich, Hadley, Andrews, Makosky, Murphy, Rolfe, Vance, Malone, Glenn, Fletcher, Powell and Sullivan (mascot). Ten of the signatures are clubhouse versions including Wicker, Heffner, Saltzgaver, Dickey, Pearson, Gomez, Schulte, McCarthy, Combs and Lazzeri. Very good dark, legible signatures. Light wear, otherwise excellent. Accompanied by PSA/DNA COA. Sold for $3,670.
